What is Cosmetic Tattooing?
Cosmetic Tattooing, or Permanent Makeup, is a form of tattooing that implants pigment into the upper reticular layer of the dermis. The pigment implantation may be done with a variety of tools or machines. Even though some advertise cosmetic tattooing as semi-permanent, this is a permanent tattoo. However, since the pigment is not implanted quite as deeply into the dermis as a traditional tattoo, it will fade over time. This is a good thing, because as we age and trends change, our features and preferences will change. Your cosmetic tattoo may be adjusted at touch up procedures to accommodate your changing preferences and features. Microblading is also a form of Cosmetic Tattooing.
